Our Privacy Commitment

At ClipSnap, we believe your data belongs to you and only you. Our app was built with privacy as the core principle. Here's how we protect your information:

100% Local Storage

All your clipboard data stays exclusively on your device. We do not use any cloud storage or synchronization services. Your clipboard history never leaves your device, ensuring complete privacy and control over your data.

No Advertisements

ClipSnap is completely ad-free. We don't integrate any advertising networks or trackers that could collect your usage information. This means no intrusive ads and no data being shared with advertising companies.

No Personal Data Collection

We don't collect, store, or transmit any personal information. ClipSnap doesn't require account creation, registration, or any form of identification. The app operates entirely offline without any data being sent to our servers or third parties.

No Analytics or Tracking

ClipSnap doesn't include any analytics tools or tracking mechanisms. We don't monitor your usage patterns, clipboard content, or app interactions. Your usage of the app is completely private.

Frequently Asked Questions

How secure is my clipboard data in ClipSnap?

Your clipboard data is stored locally on your device using SQLite database technology with standard iOS security practices. The app benefits from iOS built-in security features, including data encryption when your device is locked.

Will ClipSnap slow down my device?

ClipSnap is designed to be lightweight and efficient. It uses minimal system resources while running in the background to capture clipboard changes. The local-only approach also means the app doesn't consume network bandwidth.

How long does ClipSnap keep my clipboard history?

By default, clipboard items are automatically deleted after 30 days, but you can customize this setting to 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days based on your preferences. Items you've marked as favorites will be preserved indefinitely until you remove them.

Does ClipSnap work with sensitive information like passwords?

While ClipSnap can store any text you copy, we recommend being cautious with sensitive information. Since all data is stored locally, the risk is minimal, but as a best practice, we suggest manually deleting sensitive information from your clipboard history after use or using a dedicated password manager for passwords.
